Meet the Team
Jon Geidel, CEO
Jon Geidel joined Lending Science as President in February 2024 and transitioned to CEO January 2025. Jon spent over 5 years with Equifax as a senior executive leading the U.S. advisory and solutions team who addressed client needs across marketing, risk, analytics, fraud, and technology.
He comes with extensive experience in financial services having served as President of DataX, a premier real-time credit reporting agency, and as a senior leader in portfolio management companies in the fintech sector resulting in significant revenue and profitability gains for each. As CEO of Lending Science, he is leading the charge to penetrate new markets, develop innovative products, and expand their digital offerings.
Karen Brown, President and Chief Analytics Officer
Karen Brown joined Lending Science as Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics in May 2019, transitioning to Chief Analytics & Operating Officer in January 2023, and President in January 2025. Prior to joining LSDM, Karen was the Senior Vice President, Model Development for Synchrony where she had the responsibility for the development of all consumer and commercial models supporting Synchrony’s private label credit card, bankcard, and installment lending programs. Karen also had the responsibility for the development of all reserve, loss forecasting, capital planning, and stress testing models for Synchrony and helped lead the institution in the establishment of independent Model Development and Model Risk Management functions when Synchrony sought independence from GE Capital in 2015.
Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer-Math from Furman University and a Master of Arts & Science in Statistics from Florida State University.
John Lesnik, EVP
John, co-founder of Lending Science, has more than 19 years of experience in guiding firms in the use of data-driven marketing and operational objectives in a financial services environment.
He and his team specialize in developing analytically driven, omni-channel marketing solutions designed to acquire, retain and grow customer relationships across all channels. John has extensive experience in all aspects of database marketing including data, analytics, direct and digital marketing design and execution.
Kathy Keifer, EVP Finance & Production
Kathy Kieffer joined Lending Science in 2012 and has served in various roles ranging from Sales & Marketing to Key Accounts On-boarding and Leadership. She is currently Executive Vice President of Production & Finance working with Client Delivery teams and business partners to deliver services efficiently, effectively, and profitability.
Kathy is a Diverse “Results Driven” Financial Services Professional who is respected for transforming ideas into reality and for exceeding expectations with quantifiable results. To that end, she is effective working in a leadership capacity or in a detailed hands-on role. Kathy has over 40 years’ experience in the U.S. financial services industry working with Startup Companies from inception through to post-acquisition by large corporations.
She has been on both the “selling” and the “buying” side of Credit & Marketing Data, Decision Systems & Services, and Decision Analytics. As a result, she has accumulated a deep and wide range of experience across levels, business cultures and functions.
Todd Hoover, Head of Sales & Marketing
Todd Hoover brings over 20 years of experience in revenue growth, business development, marketing, and data. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and helping clients grow through the power of data and analytics.
Jon Kislowski, VP & GM Marketing and Analytics (Lending & Debt)
Jon Kislowski is a self-directed senior level marketing professional with 20 years of experience driving broad customer (B2C), business (B2B), and institutional marketing initiatives in highly competitive Financial Service markets.
Jon is an articulate communicator skilled in delivering creative, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking leadership in a team environment, and applying an innovative entrepreneurial mindset toward the accomplishment of business objectives.
Arun Mehta, VP & GM Marketing and Analytics (Insurance)
Arun Mehta is a marketing leader with over 13 years of experience in omni-channel marketing, machine learning and data science for the insurance industry. Having held marketing and data science leadership roles at organizations such as McKinsey, Accenture, and Guidewell; Arun and his team have significant experience in helping Medicare organizations maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
Arun’s strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in consistently surpassing expectations in the ever-evolving landscape of data analytics and marketing.
Ian Young, VP Digital Marketing Solutions
Ian Young is an experienced leader with a focus on driving growth and business objectives through sound analytically driven approaches. His recent background includes being a subject matter expert at Equifax on underwriting and credit reporting in the non-traditional finance space, with a focus on online consumers.
Prior to that, he was the Chief Analytics Officer for a digital marketing and data company where he helped grow the largest digital marketing campaign in the specialty lending space as well as helped lead a credit bureau that was acquired by Equifax. Ian’s initial career began in the United States Air Force where he contributed to the F-22A Raptor testing program and high-profile personnel initiatives.
